This is my place to go to when I am around the area. Very good quality of food and friendly staff. The relaxing atmosphere makes me enjoy the food even more. Thankyou Le Bouchon team.

Waitress did a great job taking our order but the food was just not great for me and my friends. Escargot was just so so and would prefer it served in its shell. Duck confit was dry and potatoes were hard, onion soup was thick and could have been used as BBQ sauce. Only thing nice of the soup was the toasted baguette with cheese that came with the soup. The fish dish(grilled I think) my friend had was fishy. Grilled scallop starter was the most edible of the lot of our orders. My friend did not enjoy the Cassoulet du Sud-Ouest ( casserole dish). Vegetarian option was only one dish which was gnocchi and that was not bad. We left without having any desserts.

Recommended to us by foodie friends and did not disappoint. A destination in itself everything is wonderfully authentically French from decor to waiting staff (yes French speakers) to of course the generously prepared and presented food. We went for a weekday lunch and enjoyed an entree, main (the duck special was superb) and a shared dessert plus a glass of wine each. Made a point to thank the kitchen, two wonderfully efficient chefs who we watched seamlessly work together to prepare the range of dishes for a very happy set of patrons of all ages. Well priced for the high level of food and service. Special note, able to offer several options to accommodate a garlic intolerance even. Worthy of a visit.

The best French meal we have had in Victoria. It makes me think of our recent trip to Paris. A must try / excellent dinner option.

Superb! I didn't expect a French restaurant this good in the 3B region (Balnarring, Baxter, Bittern). Service was warm and friendly Menu diverse and representative Food and presentation a delight Atmosphere cosy and engaging Sound levels great to have a conversation with out yelling Budget value for money for the quality provided Not surprised you need to book ahead. We'll be back.

We first ate at Le Bouchon early 2022 and was suitably impressed with the excellent French cuisine (and wonderful service). Visiting the Mornington Peninsula again just recently we knew we had to grab another table - and it was well worth it. The French onion soup and beef bourguignon were highlights from the menu this time, accompanied with a lovely red (and a sneaky chocolate mousse to finish).

One of the best local options whilst being around Mornington Peninsula. Really friendly staff and very helpful to let you know of the daily specials. most of the food have been absolutely delicious. Though one thing is that the flavour of the onion soup wasn't quite what we were expecting. Overall a lovely experience!

Classic French Bistro food with typical French atmosphere . Service very good from an overworked wait staff. Wine list okay ... BYO Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Steak and Beef bourguignon exceptional as are the profiteroles.
